Fuller, faster?

This may be a naive question; I usually eat 4 eggs/4 pieces of bacon for breakfast 3-4 times/week, and usually it's not a problem, I can "scarf it" down. Lately, I'm noticing that I am less incline to eating my entire meals. One thing I have changed is incorporating more protein into my meals, could this be it?

Why do you want to scarf down your food?

I'd say a few weeks. Before I was eating 2/2 but decided to bump up my protein intake, so I notice it's taking less to get satiated

If you you have been doing this for a couple of weeks already, perhaps your body is bored of eating the same thing so often. Switch it up.

I remember I used to eat scrambled eggs every single day for BF. I could easily scarf down eggs with a 2-3 cups of chopped vegetables. After the second week, by the third forkful I couldn't stomach anymore. Not because I was full to the point of satiety. My body just didn't want to eat the same thing anymore. After changing what I put in my eggs, and how I made them, I was back to eating a large portion again without problems.

Protein + fat I would guess. How long have you eaten 4 eggs and 4 pieces of bacon? Maybe your satiety factor is catching up with you.

My guess is that you're becoming more fat adapted and don't require as much food. You are satiated quicker and your body is better able to use dietary and stored body fat for your energy needs.

Try slowly cutting down on the number of eggs and bacon slices and see how you feel. Self experimentation with food is the key to dialing in your diet and find your own sweet spot.
