I use organic egg white protein powder, for supplementation and faux paleo baking purposes

Pretty sure beef gelatin powder - or better yet - collagen hydrolysate are pure, animal-based forms of protein. The hydrolysate form is tasteless and dissolves in cold liquids, unlike straight-up beef gelatin powder. FYI.

I've got a large half used container of Jarrow Whey that I gave up on. Although I do some lifting I seem to be able to get enough protein in my two meals to cover me. I've read negatives about powder and it kind of goes against the eating simple real foods, unprocessed mantra.

get a good grass-fed whey protein---the following link is raw too. I'm a believer in whey--I've cycled without it before--did 3 months without it--, and I noticed that I had a harder time recovering and my muscle gains were less.

dont think this has anything to do with paleo, unless youre talking literal let me take off my shoes and go live in the forest kind of primal.

if youre not doing a lot of exercise you probably dont need more protein assuming you are consuming beef/eggs/fish, if youre doing something like bodybuilding then supplement away(IMO) even though it may not be ideal from a longevity standpoint. i would just avoid the common sense non paleo things(like soy) and you probably want to avoid powders you react negatively to(some people react to isolate?) how its processed and what form it is can affect how well you react to it.(a lot wont have an issue either way)

usually people want their protein macro about 15%
