How to get rid of Chronic Prostatitis

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to best get rid of Chronic Prostatitis (aka Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome)?

I'm curious to see what the paleo-minded end of the internet has to say.

Yeah, you probably should take iodine if you are making the brocculi cure, but still think it is beneficial if you have prostatitis

There are problems with eating so much broccoli: 1) Broccoli is a goitrogen, which means it can be harmful to your thyroid. Supplementing with kelp/iodine can counteract this. 2) Broccoli is one of the FODMAPs, meaning it can cause trouble for those suffering from IBS.

I recall reading that high levels of Quercetin were associated with reduced symptoms. The richest sources can be found in Apple and onion skins. Sticking to a strict anti-inflammatory diet should help in general.
