digestive issues today

I've only been eating Paleo for 2 months but wow, the overindulgences the past two days have really given me issues. Anyone else feeling the effects today? I haven't slept well and reflux was back... :(

Thanks, I think I'll try the baking soda. I feel worse now than when I got up.

Try a tablespoon of coconut oil. Melt it and drink it if you find the solid mass a challenge.

A massive load of dark green leaves works for me. Not sure if it's anti-bacterial/fungal or just alkalising, but it's generally the answer.

Carrot juice is good too.

And the coconut is a good tip.

i had some artichoke dip yesterday and was worried about the dairy. i took a few interfase enzymes last night by klaire labs and have felt none of the bad after effects.

I had too much sugar (eggnog....from grass fed cows :p, and candied nuts, marzipan) and woke up sweating in the middle of the night with my heart racing. Always happens if I overdo sugary goods. Boy did I feel GROSS yesterday! Bloated and gurgly guts today. If I get right back on track it should work itself out in a few days.

I don't know if it'll help you today, but my guts were twisted up yesterday after some cookies & Mac & cheese... I tried a trick with baking soda I picked up in this forum. 1tsp in a glass of water... worked amazing.

Today your best bet is probably black coffee.
