Leonardite (Humic and Fulvic acids) as a special prebiotic ?

Leonardite is the prebiotic in Prescript Assist, which contains soil organisms. It is also used in organic agriculture. I've seen some claims that leonardite only feeds the soil based organisms and that soil based organisms actually feed on the overgrown species in SIBO.

We consider buying some leonardite for our gardens and trying to use it as a prebiotic. I may add small amounts to multi-serving recipes for example sth like a smoothie that lasts more than a week.

I used rifaximin and I'm still sure I'd benefit from reducing the small intestinal bacteria...

Other things I may do include using interfase / interfase plus, monolaurin (lauricidin), betaine hcl + pepsin supps to increase my stomach acid.

Any recommendations ? I know I can use Prescript Assist that contains the probiotics but it seems there may be some problems with the probiotics:

Also, it's a waste of money if the claims are true, I can do the same and grow a better garden at the same price...
