Has anyone in the paleo community tried Craze? Ive checked some YouTube vids and it had gotten good reviews.

6 oz coffee, 1/4 cup coconut milk, 1/2 teaspoon of MCT oil, 15 grams of Whey protein

That's generally my pre-workout "shot" lately. I wouldn't do it if your goal is fat loss, but if you're trying to gain or maintain muscle and get a nice boost, it's worth it.

I've tried Craze. I used to love C4. I'm sure like others, I've tried a ton of pre-workouts. They work, for a time. After a while, there's no difference. It's an expensive "non-response."

Another idea might be just supplement-based. Try this:

1500 mg of Beta-Alanine, 1000 mg of L-Arginine, 400 mg of caffeine and Some form of essential amino acids

Keep the Whey protein and/or BCAA's for peri or post-workout. Depending on intensity, a starchy source of food or something like honey might also be an idea.

Pre-workout supplementation is really dependent on A) goals and B) expected training intensity.

The best pre workout drink is a swig of water on the back of a nice 16hr fast. If you must, some BCAA.
