I take 10g K Bicarb a day. Helps with many things. Some may say it helps the body stay alkaline without it having to leach calcium. Muscles feel great on it.
However, it raises stomach pH an I can feel that (doesn't help digestion). On an empty stomach, it's fine; but while hiking etc I often need to take it with food.
So considering equivalent amounts of elemental potassium, which is better, what are the pluses and minuses of each?
