eating posture?

I've seen a few posts about working standing up, surely eating posture is even more important? If this were paleo reenactment (which I am against) are we supposed to squat? eat with our bare hands in small groups?

maybe not "even more important", paleoman didn't spend 8 hours infront of a computer, I try not to. I think eating posture is a valid question

I wouldn't say it's **more important** but it is an interesting question. Posture is too often under emphasized.

Why would eating posture be "even more important"? You spend an hour or two eating every day, tops. Many people sit at computers for 8+ hours a day, plus more hours in cars and on couches.

well you wash them first? or you only use your right hand to eat with, left hand for toiletry functions?

well, I just mean I am against playing paleo role playing games for example like running around in bear skins beating each other over the head with clubs, I am interested in health benefits. Maybe our digestive system is designed for eating in a squatting position for example.

I don't understand - if you're not a re-enactment paleo, then what exactly are you looking for? I haz a confusion.

I always pretend that I just killed my meal and start cutting it with a crude lithic tool while grunting at my girlfriend if she gets too close.

I've actually started eating with my hands a lot more lately. Not for any re-inactment purpose.. but I just found myself doing it. I actually quite like it. Granted, it doesn't work for all foods, but meats and such for sure.
