Do worms crawl out of raw pork, when doused with cola?

I've had white sqiggles come out of raw pork, when doused with a cola, or any acid. Are these worms? Should I care? Yum, worms. Yum, pork!

It's an urban legend, and I'm wondering if it has some basis in fact. No, I don't know what the white stuff is, actually, that's why I asked.

You really can't tell the difference? I'm sorry, it's hard to not assume that you're just posting this to get a reaction. It's a bizarre question/comment - what on earth does cola or acid have to do with meat having worms? It's hard to take you seriously when you write like that. Google is your friend. Google parasites and worms in meat. I'm failing to see the paleo connection here.

Seriously, though, are these worms? Maybe it's just fat?

Well, we all knew that Easter-bunnies were born of raw-pork, but what of the nasty, white squiggles? Is this how white-chocolate is birthed?

Heh, down to one down-vote! Is it because you can't stand the words "doused" or "cola"?

Hah!! Two down-votes for a question about a legend I didn't even invent. I love pork. Do you guys hate pork, worms, or legends?

What you are seeing is most definitely worms. Just to be sure though, freeze whatever pork, bacon, or ham that you have and send it to me so I can conduct some further testing in my kitc...I mean laboratory.

After looking on yout... I mean doing some in-depth research, it seems that the results are mixed and contradictory. In fact, some are downright shocking... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMELb9BSVFw&feature=related
