hi y'all! if you had to choose just one episode to force your friends and family to listen to - to teach them/convince them about paleo. (not a whole podcast please, but one specific episode) thank you!!

I think you MUST be thinking of someone else. I never heard anything like that from Angelo Coppola. And I can't quite imagine someone finding him "abrasive." I heard such a podcast too from someone, but it wasn't Coppola.

i listened to his podcast once and he had all these honks and goofy sound effects like he was an 8-year old visiting a radio station in 1992. and he was really abrasive. honestly couldn't make it through an episode. or am i thinking of someone else?

I think for sheer approachability, affability, production values, and "voice of reason" aspects, it's gotta be one of the "Latest in Paleo" episodes (Angelo Coppola). He's the one who kind of hooked me in and connected me with the larger paleo community. But honestly, after listening to ALL of his podcasts in the months since October 2011, I just cannot remember a single ep well enough to suggest it as "epic."

In fact, I have listened to dozens and dozens and dozens of episodes of various podcasts during that period (sometimes I keep them running all day while I work on home repairs or something--seriously, kind of obsessive....). So my brain is too full to pull these apart.

I really can't wait to see what folks here come up with, but wow, what a challenging question! Sorry I didn't really have an answer.

It's not a podcast, but the fathead documentary on YouTube is what I'd use to introduce people to paleo concepts.
