how much weight do you need to lose? If you are really heavy, almost any small change will result in some weight loss, but if you are trying to get to single digit body fat, then it will be much harder.

My advice would be to:

  1. eat a protein rich breakfast. 4 eggs, some bacon, last night's left overs, etc. Don't worry about fat because it will keep you full so that you can last longer without eating.
  2. Don't eat lunch.
  3. Eat dinner 5 hours before you sleep. If you want to eat carbs, eat them now, but no more than 1 serving (1 sweet potato, 1 serving of rice, preferably not grains etc.) It's best to eat carbs at night because if you eat them at breakfast, you will have more insulin throughout the day, and this will mess up fat burning when you are the most active. Plus, the carbs will make you sleepy!
  4. Get LOTS of sleep.
  5. Don't eat fruit if you want to lose weight. You really don't need it (people used to go all winter with out a single fucking banana/apple/orange/fructose-sack). Eat vegetables, they have more nutrition; use butter to make them tasty (but not the whole stick).
  6. Make sure that your food satisfies you (if you are eating stuff that disgusts you, then you are just going to binge)

You probably already know most of this stuff; implementing it is the hardest part.

To lose weight, one needs to eat less and less frequently. Also, one needs to cut out junk. One knows all the answers but fails to put them into practice.
