[Meta] Could Patrik or the moderators please post status updates on the site glitch?

Okay, yesterday was stressful but I was hoping things would be fine today.

Very first comment I tried to post, I got the "You can only post 20 comments an hour" warning after not being on the site since yesterday evening. Finally, got to post that comment and now I have the warning again on the next comment.

STUFF HAPPENS! We can deal with it, but it sure would help to get some status updates. Please?

I wouldn't use a feed on something with such low signal-to-noise. I don't want to hear about every update, I just want to scan periodically for something interesting.

Hi, Mellisa! I check out 20+ sites every day, definitely including yours, but I like me my PH! I check out the subreddit but it's just not the same.

Things got pretty dicey here in Boston last night when paleohacks went offline. It was like when the Red Sox won the World Series, but crazier. Even hiding under my comforter in my little apartment, I could hear people on the street chanting. "Paleohacks is Paleowack!" "2-4-6-8, who don't we appreciate? Patrik!" The worst were the indignities hurled at Melissa..."Melissa- go hunt/gather/%#$% yourself!".

Aww... people just care. And don't want to die. Perhaps in the future the developer can add a tab titled "announcements", or whatever, so everyone is in the know. Or mebbe there could be a quick post announcing things will be wonky and to check that post for updates.

It wasn't a site glitch. Have you seen Inception?

Guys, don't stress out. This isn't the only site out there. Check out the paleo subreddit or Evolvify's forums or Twitter if you are looking for an outlet and this isn't working. If paleohacks not working causes you stress, that's not very paleo.
