Thin non-IR PCOS and Paleo?

I'm still in the transition phase and not 100% Paleo yet. I'm very skinny, non-insulin resistant and have PCOS.

Anyone with this condition benefited in terms of hormonal profile due to Paleo?

I have most often known of women with PCOS who were previously overweight or insulin-resistant or both getting their PCOS in remission with Paleo. Never heard of thin and non-IR women getting benefited...

My blood sugar and insulin in fasting came normal. My GTT results were also fine. Hence, the doc said I'm non-IR

My first question is how do you know you're not IR????

I was, until my mid-thirties, a thin woman with severe PCOS, and I was very IR. It's wrong to make an assumption that low body weight means you're not IR. And yes, I recognize that some people have PCOS without being IR, but I also think IR is more likely than not.

I'm just starting Paleo, but I am also thin, non-IR resistant and have PCOS. I hadn't really thought about any benefits in that area, but I'm interested to see if anyone has any insight.
