I am ok without pasta but my kids do love it so i was reading about it. So the blurb is SlimPasta is naturally made of a vegetable called Konjac which produces a high fibre (called gulcomannan) that is a low calorie and low carbohydrate food. SlimPasta provides delicious meal options for you and your family.
So question is is it really good or not paleo or not....I assume it sounds good as it is made of vegetables but these things can be deceptive.

I believe that's the same thing as Shirataki noodles, which I've seen on a few paleo plates. Konjac is a type of yam, so it's kind of the same thing (in my mind) as sweet potato noodles--technically paleo, but a huge load of starch with not a lot of micronutrients. Personally, I go with rice noodles when I feel like eating a starch bomb (because ain't nobody takin' away the noodles in my pho!).
Also, apparently the texture is an acquired taste, so if your kids are expecting wheat pasta, they might not enjoy the chewy (or as I've seen it described, "gelatinous") texture.
