so confused! palmolein and palm oil trans fat question - in reference to plantain chips

hello there.hope you can help...what are your thoughts on these chips?

i am confused as to whether palm oil is paleo-friendly (is palmolein is the same as palm oil?) also, is palmolein/palm oil a trans fat?

Palm oil more of a slurry than anything with two fractions: palm olein is the liquid fraction and palm stearin is the solid portion. Apparently you can separate them.

It's labeled as non-hydrogenated, so it shouldn't have trans-fats (other than any natural ones).
