PaleoHacks has broken into the top 10,000 websites in the United States!

EDIT

Paleohacks is now ranked #8,805, placing it ahead of even selected niche porn sites! The highest ranked paleo site I could find is Mark's Daily Apple, at #2,552. Robbwolf.com is #10,257. Freetheanimal.com is #20,680. 30bananasaday.com is #13,725.

Getting into the top 100,000 is considered to be pretty good, so this is even better. Plus I noticed yesterday that Mark Sisson's new book is #3 on Amazon's overall bestseller list. Good news for paleo. More information dissemination --> More people informed about the link between their diets and health --> Increase in happiness.

Oh shoot, I have to have a question in here. Hmmm...Do you like the Spin Doctors? I do. They are so funky and upbeat.

seriously what will the trend be over the next year? more availability of real food, or just higher cost on real food that's available? or both - like a Whole Foods-esque business model

PS Mark's book is down to #6 now on Amazon. And I looked into this a little bit after you told me about it yesterday, and the push for the NYT bestseller list is on, too. I think that all the purchases through this week will help get the book up there for the next list. On Mark's site it looks like he wants us to do all the purchasing we can by Monday the 24th.

Yes I love the Spin Doctors, thanks for asking!

In High School I thought I was all cool and stuff because I went on a date with this guy who took me to the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston. For lunch. I had chicken ceasar salad since this is pretty much all I ate throughout my teen years - dressing on the side. We were the only customers there but there was this really loud band playing. It was the Spin Doctors! Of course I didn't know who they were but my date did. It was a really odd date because we had nothing to say to each other but that was okay because Little Miss Can't be Wrong was blaring so loudly he never would have been able to hear any of the interesting things I surely would have said to him anyway. The Spin Doctors kinda saved that date. Not that we went back out together again mind you. It's nice though that I didn't have to munch my lettuce in silence though.

I love the Spin Doctors tightly.

Personally, I think this whole situation sucks. Why, you ask?

It's simple: supply and demand.

For every person who ditches their crap-in-a-box diet and adopts an ancestral lifestyle, it raises the demand for produce and meat, which hits us all square in the pocketbook.

Kidding, of course. Way to go, paleohacks.com
