I'm very interested in join my local mason lodge and they invited me down to dinner to discuss my application.
I'm new to paleo and really try to stay as ortho as possible right now- I'm still in the junkie-binge phase.
I'm betting the food there will be some sort of grain based meal [i think they said pasta], and I don't want to mess my paleo up. I'd much rather just not eat, I'm fine with that, but I know it might look weird.
If anybody here is a mason and goes to lodge meeting dinners? Would it be ok for me not to eat?

I am a Master Mason and several of our lodge members are Paleo. (some are vegan, some don't eat beef, etc....)
You have nothing to worry about. Your dietary preferences will not at all offend anyone, and skipping the meal is perfectly acceptable.
