Worried im not getting enough calories

I have been following a heavy resistance training programme for a few months now and progress was good until I started Paleo about 3 weeks ago. Since then I haven't noticed any strength gains but have noticed some visible weight loss. I am a bit concerned I am not eating enough although I feel like I am eating more then ever! I am also trying an 8/16 IF routine.

I am a male, 20 years old, 6'2", 77kg's (170lb). I train about 4 times a week.

My diet today which is similar to most days was as follows:

Breakfast. 4 egg omelette with a tin of tuna, spinach

gym around 1pm with protein shake immediately after

Lunch. 3 pieces of bacon with sweet potato mash

Dinner. 2 sirloin steaks 3 different veg white potatoes side salad

snacks. 2 bananas a few spoons of almond butter a few brazil nuts some strawberries.

I use alot of butter and coconut oil to cook in.

According to Myfitnesspal, my breakdown was: 135g fat, 146g carbs, 192g protein, 2518 calories.

Please could you guys give me some advice as to wether I am eating enough in total, and enough of each macro.

Thanks!

Thanks for your comments. I will up my calorie intake - at least on workout days and keep it a bit lower on non-workout days. I think I will also go back to full fat dairy because I seem to be a bit low on calcium and I am struggling to live without milk!

Funny how the carbies are sick of seeing low-carb fanaticism and the lowcarbies are sick of seeing carbies. Just carbies, period. Hah. Actually, I don't see much 'I hate carbies' as much as I see 'I hate lowcarbies and their preaching.'

Your food actually looks surprisingly good, theres just not enough of it. Considering you are a 20 year old male who lifts weights (as am I), you probably want to be eating closer to 3000 calories a day (if your goal is to build muscle, which it appears to be). I would suggest bumping the protein up just a bit to 200g, and doubling your carbs, with most coming immediately pre and post workout. Yes, I wrote doubling. At least. Part of the issue could just be that you aren't suited very well to fasting, or need some more time to adjust. I personally found that easing into fasting via Bulletproof coffee and just coffee with coconut oil helped a lot, and now I fast for some period almost every day. Regardless of whether you fast or not, still eat more carbs. I just noticed you are 6'2" and 170. Sounds like you're a bit of an ectomorph, in which case you should Definitely be eating more carbs and probably shouldn't fast regularly. Maybe once or twice a week for 18+ hours. I'm 5'8" 185, and I'm currently eating pretty much the exact same as you as I try to go from 12ish to 8% bf. TL:DR: Eat more carbs and protein, don't fast everyday.

Eat more. 3000+ calories a day.

I love that you're eating bananas and potatoes. I'm sick of seeing the low-carb fanaticism around here. Keep that up. I've started making a smoothie with full fat dairy, two bananas, peanut butter (OH NOES!), and coconut oil/milk if I feel like it. Smoothies NEVER kept me full, but with two bananas? I'm good for 5+ hours.

And I'm a lazy, skinny shit who doesn't work out other than some daily body weight squats and pushups for my back.
