I like feeling like I know a whole lot more than I actually do. Reputation points tend to beget even more and people will agree with me if I am known for being on the ball.

It's going quite well Todd, so far. It *might be a coincidence, but I have had one breakthrough. I have been suffering from some kind of tendonitis in my left arm, probably due in part to my weightlifting with big handled weights. This has been going on since October and it's hampered my training. Since I've added in mass quantities of calcium from the H-D and milk, I am about 95 percent well and look forward to being completely well soon. Otherwise, in general, feeling much better than when doing strict Paleo.

@Derrick Rose -- thank you for the vote of confidence --- however, I do have to remain consistent even with such flattering comments. Your last question regarding loneliness was not really a good question for this framework -- however, since the PH community was so supportive of you (which makes me proud of them) I left it up. Hope you feel better soon and let's get back to our regularly scheduled programming. Thanks.

  • fantastic archive of resourceful information

  • many of the people that i have encountered here are very intelligent, well spoken, and well educated on so many different facets

  • ability to vote is an excellent feature that more forum type websites would benefit from

  • the stackexchange system works very well

  • simple design and easy to navigate around. it's not cluttered with a too much mish mash or distractions.

  • extremely active members that stay on top of what's new daily and always willing to question even themselves in a healthy and productive way

  • can voice your concerns and/or opinions and be acknowledged/recognized, a very important thing for humans.

  • can develop a sense of belonging. can develop a reputation.

  • ability to constantly learn, and constantly help others with what you've learned, always subject to the refining fire of the members

  • it's all about healthy and beneficial living, which basically speaks to all people

  • and last but not least, where else would you encounter PersonMan?

Why? Its a community where people come to share ideas and try to help their fellow man. When you try to help people your sense of well being also increases exponentially. I firmly believe in paying it forward.

A lot of info is simply being transmitted from other paleo blogs to this one, so for those who don't want to spend their life reading science-dense blogs, as dorks like me do, PH provides a handy and quick way to access that information. What I find uniquely valuable about PH, though, is that it provides a wealth of anecdotal evidence, which is very useful information. Published research provides a different type of information, and it's a real luxury to have both at one's disposal.
