Why does free the animal hate hunt gather love?

I'm too lazy to read through all Nikolay's posts. Why does he have beef with Melissa McEwen?

Does this turn you off of the Free the Animal blog?

I'm not paleo, so I am not interested much in your "boo, paleo people are not cool" etc. stuff, and as a european I find the whole american politics thing kind of entertaining, but I don't have any emotion towards it. As for you collecting independent thinkers, you just collect pathetic sycophants like all circus acts. But keep on being entertaining, no one takes you seriously, but many are entertained by you, that is still something.

It _is_ often about rudeness and vitriol redberry. Also, often enough, fairness, encouragement, joy. We take the bad with the good and good with the bad. That's because it's _real_, not contrived, not polished, not self censored. Most people have a tough time with reality or just individual devil-may-care attitudes. To my mind, beauty and grace are always more remarkable when contrasted against ugliness. We do both at FTA so that both are in plain view.

Hahahaha. Laughing stock in your mind. I'm always an 'out with the old, in with the new' kinda guy. It's quite simple. Unlike some years ago, I have pretty much come to loathe _most_ of the conventional wisdom Paleos, so I just go it alone. I collect independent thinkers. People who get "offended" are not such. No use for them. But most of you are going to frequent blogs that tell you what to do, cater to young Earth creationist MORONS, cater to voter MORONS, etc., and there will never be anything remarkable or different about it. The movement had potential. Doesn't much, anymore.

Hhahhah, very accurate description :D It's funny though that Dikoley does not understand that he has become a laughing stock, much like Doucherider.

Agreed. Both are attention whores and have a well-worn deck of "victim" cards.

I just wasted 5 minutes of my life reading paleodrama and some related posts on FTA. People actually get into this kind of endless pointless shit on public online forums? How petty and self-centered are they?

Not only women. I posted a comment on his blog politely asking (not even questioning, asking), and Mr Free The Animal AND his sycophants came at me like a pack of dogs, ad homineming the fact that I was posting pseudonymously, entirely ignoring my question even after I kept the convo civil and on-topic. Good riddance.

I stopped reading Free The Animal as his abrasive style and gratuitous use of profanities just screams "look at me, I'm trying to look like an alpha male". As to the question at hand: it doesn't matter.

I don't think we should be discussing this - it is not really a Paleo topic, more like personalities...

Anyway, some people are just naturally rude (maybe they have nutritional deficiencies or low in iron) and become Internet bullies. Which is not nice.

If you don't like the topic/idea/person - just watch/read something else, don't make nasty comments about it. Okay, if you want to make nasty comments - hide them so nobody can see them or something.

I have looked at Nikolay's blog - it is not something I would be interested in following.

The best way to deal with bullies is not to deal with them. Isolate them and ignore them. There are too many wonderful people in this world to spend your time on Internet bullies. Life is bigger than this.

I can't read Free the Animal, because it's full of rudeness and vitriol. But what does it matter? Richard has readers who clearly like his style, and the rest of us can go elsewhere.

I was turned off of Free the Animal long before this. If there were a Paleo version of Durian Rider, Nikolay would be it. Obviously nobody is as bad as Durian Rider at ANYTHING, but Nikolay seems to be trying.

Some months ago when I was figuring out what paleo bloggers to follow, I notice this issue: paleo drama!! He seems to be the bully type, that if you don't agree with him he becomes all mean and disrespectful. So not cool. He tends to lash out against women solely so make up your own mind what that's about. There are some bloggers out there whose style I don't like. http://www.bulletproofexec.com for instance wrote a very untactful post regarding the health and food choices about Michael Clarke Duncan when he died. It was such a turn off for me that I unfollowed him immediately. People shouldn't jump to conclusions regarding someone's health or cause of death and definitely not when promoting their own products. that is just beyond tacky.
