What's your experience as Paleo?/What would you want to hear about other people's experiences?

If you were being interviewed about the Paleo lifestyle, what questions would you want to be asked?/would you find most interesting to hear other people's responses to?

I am doing a short film on a day in the life of a Paleo college student.

I've got these so far:

In your own words, what is the Paleo diet?

What made you start caring about nutrition and your health?

What made you turn to Paleo in the first place?

How does this factor in during social gatherings, (i.e. drinking, going out on a date, etc.)?

I want heart felt responses, nothing generic that somebody interested in the Paleo diet could simply Google.

In your own words, what is the Paleo diet?

The Paleo Diet, to me, is optimizing health by eating foods that are natural, fresh, found in the wild, and unprocessed. Inseparable from that is staying active, getting a good amount of sleep, and being as stress-free as possible.

What made you start caring about nutrition and your health?

When I was recovering from anorexia, my interest in nutrition and health increased a hundred fold. I needed to gain weight and I wanted to do it in the healthiest way possible.

What made you turn to Paleo in the first place?

Being painstakingly obsessed with researching about nutrition and health, I inevitably came across Mark's Daily Apple and that piqued my interested about Paleo.

How does this factor in during social gatherings, (i.e. drinking, going out on a date, etc.)?

My family, closest friends, and boyfriend are all accepting of my diet--although I've never actually uttered the word "Paleo." They understand why I choose to eat this way and applaud me for eating "sooo healthy." Being 22, I still go out to drink once or twice a week, limiting my consumption to red/white wine, vodka, and tequila.

To these questions, I would add:

"What has been your biggest challenge since starting Paleo?"

"What has been your most rewarding experience?"

"What are some important things you've learned about this diet and about yourself?"

How do you effectively structure your day? (shopping for groceries, cooking, staying disciplined, what to eat if lack of time)
