What or How does a strict paleo order from a restaurant menu?

I'm normally a relaxed paleo but I've been doing strict paleo for the last 6 days. My friends and I are going out to eat to celebrate one of my friends bday and I wanted to know how I should order my food (i don't want to show up to the restaurant and tell them to cook with my ingredient), what should I order to be safe, or should I eat my self made food before I get to the restaurant? Please help?!!

The waiter will probably look at you funny lol. Most likely it will be regular beef, so don't expect it to be grass fed. If it is, trust me, the restaurant will make a big deal about it and let you know....they wouldn't pay a premium for grass fed beef just to keep it a secret.

Strict paleos don't eat out. (Though I don't recommend strict paleo for anybody really.)

You could just eat food not paleo every once in awhile. You won't die of brain implosion because of it.

Once a week having a meal with your partner with bread and a desert won't kill you or give you cancer.

Carefully. I usually pack some snacks (almonds, dried fruit, jerky) if I don't know the menu ahead of time. Of course you can usually get the menu off the internet and plan ahead. If you know where you are going you can email and ask if they accommodate us weirdos. A good restaurant should be able to answer.

Ask for foods which are prepared simply and without much ado, for example: steaks, grilled meats and fish, steamed/boiled seafood, steamed vegetables and salads without dressing. If you know the place is good and they provide authentic olive oil then ask for some of that. I find it best when I go to places that have a rustic feel to them, since they keep it simple.

Nothing, they stay online and tell people that they are doing paleo.
