What keeps you motivated ?

People have different reasons to keep them going on Paleo or Working out.

For me, it's the better lifestyle change I have seen and the results I've seen in myself and my body.

Seeing that it takes a small amount of effort to go Paleo and to workout continuously- seeing the differences every day makes me want to keep going. Great feeling when I can go back to picture collages I've taken in March and so forth and compare and contrast- Love what I'm seeing...

I appreciate all your posts on Paleo Hacks- So glad I've found this place and reaching out to my fellow Paleo Friends.

I don't think it will get so small that I will have to get butt implants.

Just looking at some people around me. And the taste of grass-fed beef.

First of all, I'm vain. I really, really like my new body and lifestyle. It is such a complete turn around from being obese and miserable.

Second, I really enjoy being able to carry my 9 year old, 95lb daughter up three flights of stairs when I used to not be able to carry her up one flight when she was a baby! My new level of activity and fitness has really improved my mental attitude and not just my body. I don't need anti-depressants if I exercise.

Somewhat counter-intuitively, I stay more or less on the beam so I don't have to worry too much about food as I age. There's all sorts of Type 2 Diabetes in my family, from even before it became a common lifestyle disease.

I want to ensure I don't have that problem so when I'm 55 and at a ball game or birthday party I don't have to freak out about eating sleeve of french fries or having a slice of birthday cake.

Weird, I know: I avoid these things so, down the road, I can have them in moderation.

But what could be worse than having a disease that totally dictates to you how you can and can't eat? I'd rather be in charge of those decisions. Especially since I adore food so much.

Most definitely to feel better and heal my intestines...but the other benefits that came along with it include more energy, fitter body-very little excess fat left, everyone tells me I look 15 years younger....and that's not easy to do!! :)

Paleo has transformed my body and overall health. After losing 100 lbs and doing Crossfit. I can play with my kids, and I have feel good allowing me to be even tempered and less moody! I wish I'd known this sooner! Loving it!

besides having more energy overall and just feeling fantastic, the best feeling is when someone comes up to me (who doesn't know I've been doing paleo/crossfit) and compliments me on looking leaner and healthier.

oh, and seeing strength gains in the gym is a big plus too - love setting new PRs!!!
