What is your favorite paleo protein shake recipe?

I'm sort of paleo 2.0 now, messing with Ray Peat's ideas. I'm closer to isocaloric now, so my carb intake is higher than most people's here.

I like this recipe posted on this one blog, because it's so damn simple and seems the most be the most "natural" and mostly "wholefoods" to me.

Milk, eggs, honey, lemon juice. And each ingredient, except the raw eggs, can be swapped out for something else (e.g., coconut milk instead of cow's milk).

Anyway, what is your favorite paleo protein shake recipe???

Where's the protein? 2 tablespoons of protein powder don't make a protein shake..

Nope, nada. As "insurance", I add the juice of an acidic fruit to help digest and kill any potential bacteria.

Sounds like a decent recipe that I might have to try myself.

I usually make Jay Robb Egg White protein shakes. I stock up when Whole Foods has them on sale so its not too expensive.

I have been wondering about different types of protein shakes myself. I have tried Rockin Wellness which is good but expensive and I really would like to go more Paleo (no pre-made). I'm not real sure how I feel about raw eggs though. For some reason my stomach turns just thinking about trying to down them. Can you taste them at all?

My son drinks his egg nog shake every morning: 2 raw eggs, milk, vanilla, Stevia, nutmeg, and cinnamon. He blends it all up in the larger Magic Bullet container. He hates the taste of eggs so this is one of the few ways he will eat it.
