What is the best online community or forum for paleo?

I think hacks is a good forum, but limited. I am wondering what is a quality high traffic site to promote new paleo projects? If it can make an impact in the paleo-sphere you should be able to discuss the ideas not JUST answer questions directly.

I saw that via paleohacks, so I guess there's something to be said for those other avenues as well.

+1 for the typical social media websites. I found the Caveman Truck Kickstarter a few days ago via twitter.

Aha, I should have looked closer at your name.

well, I am not supposed to blatantly self promote on this site, since you ASKED. I am referring to projects like my kickstarter. I don't want to hear " I would have totally supported you if I had known about it!" So, I am trying to let everyone in the community know.

If you want to promote paleo projects, social marketing might be a better avenue.

Facebook, twitter, etc are probably better options for this than places like paleohacks, MDA, reddit, etc. No matter how cool your idea, many people on forums just want to discuss issues, without involving business-y stuff (there's enough marketing out there in real life). Good luck with your truck!

I agree with Kamal at Paindatabase.com.

I am not a web type person, but forums will probably give push back if you try to directly advertise your stuff.

I would totally keep up with a blog that chronicled the daily woes and wins of an aspiring Paleo business. Link that blog up with a facebook page and a twitter account. Get that blog listed on Paleo blogrolls, etc.

That's just me. There a probably other ideas as well and you've surely got a marketing plan in the works.

What do you mean by "new paleo projects"?

I think the forum at Mark's Daily Apple is probably the site other than this one that is most active.

I don???t know about ???best??? community, but for what you have in mind you might try participating over at Free the Animal.

What you are attempting might have had some relevancy to one of his recent posts ???Is Paleo a Sacred Grassfed Cow?,??? though much of his posts lately have been more about politics or have been turned that way.

This is the only forum I go on, as it has a big community, lots of people doing different things, it has exactly the kind of features I want to see in a forum, ...

I like the simplicity, as I don't find that kind of ease-of-use anywhere else (except on other stackexchange websites of course).
