What is An Absurd Dish or Recipe that You Have Heard that is Completely Against the Paleo Outlook

I just wanted to know of some dishes or recipes people have heard of or that were brought up by people who eat an unhealthy diet in a positive context of enjoying the food.

I just received a Kroger ad insert in my newspaper, and there were some recipe recommendations. One had a supplementing caption above it saying "A Hearty Meal for Race Fans." The recipe was called "Race-Day Spaghetti Tacos." The recipe, and I kid you not, consisted of 2 jars of Ragu "Old World" etc. bullsh*, spaghetti, and 12 "crunchy" corn tortillas. And then they have a little sh**y picture of a spaghetti taco next to the recipe. I had to stop laughing because I actually got some chest pain from finding this too funny. Can you believe some poor people watching some sports event, and then the husband yells "Honey, you remembered to add the garlic right for the spaghetti tacos?"

This is like the theory where if you fly something like a flag in front of the people's faces you want to fool, you create the most desired effect of subliminal emotional attachment and embedding as well as trust. This is like "Are you hungry? Why don't you take a bite of yourself and savor its flavor because this food tastes so good, you just have to get used to the sweet taste." Even though it is prying your insides and its resources apart, and the real satisfaction from eating the food comes from the feeling one gets when one's body's functions are heightened because it is dying.

I am embarrassed to admit I tried a bite of one of those when I studied abroad in college. I could only eat a bite, though, which is just as well.

This is probably the most anti-paleo thing I've seen:

Gluten, legumes, soy, sugar, industrial oil...oh and MSG, too!

The Lutherburger. A bacon chedderburger (OK) sandwiched between donuts (not so much).

My old roommate used to eat spagetti and mashed potatoes, and call it his "comfort food".

The deep-fried Mars Bar should certainly be included. According to National Geographic, it "threatens to usurp the haggis as Scotland's best-known dish."

Is it possible your chest pain was due to too much arterycloggingsaturatedfat?

In all seriousness I cringe every time I see Healthy Wholegrains on TV ads these days, or ads that promote no fat or low fat foods.

The other day, my mom gave my kids a "snack" which consisted of fruit flavoured corn chips and she was arguing with me that this is healthy because it's not too sweet yet very filling. The stuff was covered with fake colouring to resemble "fruit" flavour and tasted like wax...eeewwwww. I don't think I will ever break through to my mom. She continues to believe that a bagel with cream cheese is healthier than bacon and eggs :/

The Cherpumple.

Bottom layer is a cherry pie inside a chocolate cake. Middle layer is pumpkin pie inside a ginger cake. Top layer is an apple pie inside a vanilla cake.

Just saw a blurb on new Bacon Milkshakes from the secret Jack in the Box menu. Ordinarilly Bacon=good. However, this is Bacon flavored syrub. Fake bacon flavored syrup in high calorie milkshake = bad.
