Not so much for me- the heat is really on the front and I prefer more of a back burn like you get with garlic or cumin. When I want up front heat I am more likely to go with the fresh peppers than with dried cayenne

The blend I keep around much is herbs de province for chicken dishes. Everyone thinks the lavender is weird but it really does work.

These days I mostly stick with the Italian Seasoning premade mix. It adds sooo much flavor!

I like to keep things simple and convenient. I use premade seasonings made from herbs/spices. You can look up spice stores in your area and there is usually one that will have an entire isle of these. I HIGHLY recommend seasonings. They have been a huge time saver and reduced the need for me to constantly experiment.
