Hey there , I'm in paleo since 5 months for IBS which gone better without grains and dairies , a lot better .
I 'm a sugar addicted.. I explain , I DONT drink sugars'drink ( I only drink water ) and I don't add sugar in food/drink , but I like to eat EVERYDAY a lot of 50 % dark chocolate , which in the ingredients has got "sugars" .
I don't know why I have this dipendence from it , anyway for all the rest , I eat fish , meat , no fruits and just carrots as veggies.
I don't eat fruits cause my SIBO , everytime I eat them ( fruits or veggies exclused carrots ) my gut become full of air, and painful.
The strange thing is that if I eat a banana I cry for the pain , but If I eat chocolate not.
WHY? maybe fruits contains more sugars then chocolate?
My problem is that I feel weak all day long , and A LOT LAZY!
Please hack me!
I go to sleep at 01/02am till the 8/9 of the morning
I avoid grains , legumes and dairies and I eat fish , meat and carrots , a lot of dark chocolate 50% per day .
Maybe is the sugar the problem ? I also have a little bit of ACNE in my face , not a lot.

Drink unsweetened hot chocolate. Take magnesium & vitamin B12 & D3. Extra-virgin Coconut oil will help give you some energy. Carrots are very sweet. Try different vegetable that don't have as much sugar. Getting to bed earlier will also help you as well. Good luck!

DO NOT TAKE IRON SUPPLEMENTS!!!
THAT BACTERIA IS USING IRON TO BUILD resistance to antibiotics!!!

for alot of people, the heavy Chocolate craving is due to magnesium or other mineral shortage in their diet. It wont hurt at all to add some variety to your vegetable intake.
not going to bed until 1-2am is HORRIBLE. Id say fix that long before you look at dietary issues.
Get off the Computer/TV when the sun is about to go down. Go OUTSIDE. Watch the Sunset. Relax. Enjoy it. Then stay out there till its a little dark, then youll get sleepy naturally. Then go to sleep THEN. Do not get back on electronics or turn on all the lights.
If youre having difficulty with that, take a little melatonin 3g~ at Sunset. Do this for 1 week. Youll notice yourself weak up feeling awesome, and far more energy throughout the day if youre not starving yourself/eating right.

I have a semi-educated guess. Actually, it is my recent discovery.
I never thought about it, but then I put 2 and 2 together and here you go...
- When you have SIBO, bacteria "eats" your iron. Your iron and vitamin B12 levels get depleted.

Check your ferritin and B12 levels. I bet they are low. Your ferritin should be 12 or above (for a girl, I forgot what they are for a guy).
My gut feeling says that there must be some iron in chocolate. You can test my theory by eating tons of iron-rich and B12-rich foods.
Oh, and eating SUGAR and TOO MANY CARBS is the problem for SIBO because that bacteria lives on that stuff. By eating sugar and too many carbs you are keeping them alive and well if you indeed have SIBO.
