I am currently starting Paleo as i feel it will benefit my quest to reach 8-10% bodyfat. I'm currently 'cutting' (basically overdid the carbs on a 'dirty bulk') and need some general pointers.
People have told me to keep fats (from almonds, brasil nuts) high, around 100-120g daily. My protein intake is high due to bodybuilding (300-360g) daily. I have some Post-Workout carbs (50-60g) from Waxy Maize (starch) and 200g strawberries (30g).
I'm avoiding all breads, dairy, sugars etc
Can I get some general pointers as to if the above is nonsence or factual.

Waxy maize? No, definitely not paleo. Consider replacing this with a very dense starch - yuca or potato come to mind. Other tubers and roots are great, too, but those two are very high in starch.
What are your sources for protein? If you are getting the bulk of your protein from powders and shakes, that's not quite paleo either, so consider eating plenty of, and a variety of, real meat.
Do not keep your fats that high from nuts primarily. Your fat levels will likely fall in that range from eating real meats. Nuts are not required at all, but are AOK to have if you want to eat them.
If you're eating starch and fruit, you're not not eating sugar, but of the sugars you are eating, strawberries (and most berries) should be AOK.
