Hey everyone , since today i'm gonna start a strong diet for SIBO.

I will eliminate every kind of addicted sugars , and I will cut off my 50% dark chocolate.

The only problem , ok i will eat vegetables meat and fish , but what about breakfast or the little lunch at 16:00 pm?

Can I eat a banana? or it's too much sugar?

I should add, I was never diagnosed with SIBO, just had lots of bloating, cramping, and constipation-prone. I am not 100% better, but a good 75. And that's after 2 weeks.

Hi Matteo, I described the diet above. No nuts, eggs, dairy, fruit. Meat or fish, cookoied low-fodmap veggies (i usually sautee in pastured butter or coconut oil), a source of fat (the butter/oil and/or avocados, olives, bacon). And starchy carbs - yams, squashes etc. Fish oil, probiotics, vitamin D and magnesium. That's pretty much it.

I consulted with Amy Kubal, a Paleo nutritionist who offers her services via email/phone, to help deal with my IBS and bloating. I've been Paleo for year but have seen a HUGE improvement in symptoms in the two weeks since I went on the diet she gave me: Meat/fish, cooked LOW-FODMAP vegetables and a fat source at every meal. Starchy carbs after I exercise. Start thinking of breakfast as just another meal. I just had some ground lamb with herbs, and chard, romaine and spinach sauteed in coconut oil. Will eat some roasted yams after I bike to work.

I would strongly encourage you consult her, she's changed my life!
