Should I look at the Allergen information?

This is my first week of Paleo. I am not allergic to gluten but of course I am avoiding them. My question is whether I should avoid products that contain allergen information like 'processed in a plant that also processes wheat/soybean/milk etc??'

I bought some Pecans, and the 'processing' here was just shelling and packaging..

I think you should avoid any foods that say "processed" regardless of what the rest of the sentance says

If this is just your first week, I wouldn't stress yourself out about the allergen info on wrapped fresh foods, assuming that you truly are avoiding processed foods. If you're going from SAD to Paleo, that's a big enough change that trace amounts dairy/gluten/soy in a few pecans everyday are not going to be a big deal for you. Once you've been at it for a while, you can reassess if you're worried about traces of gluten/dairy/soy in something like packaged nuts and if that's something you actively want to look out for.

These are raw pecans, I hope.
