Hi everyone,

I just got the practical paleo cookbook and am really looking forward to diving into the fat loss meal plan for starters. I am not really new to the diet, but am not really consistent, so I figured that this would be a great way to get a bit better at it before the holidays.

Have any of you guys followed her meal plans? Doesn't have to be the fat loss one in particular, but just in general. And how did they work for you?

I would also like to hear people's experiences with these meal plans. I am starting off on the Blood Sugar plan today.

Not like this has anything to do with the question, but I LOVE the Coco-Nutty porridge-replacement recipe, definitely the best breakfast in the book and the one I eat every day :)

Hey Lonnie,

I've cooked through the Digestive Health program, and am now 3 days away from completing the Fat Loss program. It has been a great edge to have everything 'planned out' and have an easy way to follow a primal eating pattern. The gift of habit is the most distinguishable. I still struggle with cravings and the its-here-so-why-the-hell-not type snacking which isn't very productive.

Comments I do have are positive. The food is good and well thought out and gives you an arsenal of recipes that leave you with no excuses. I did stumble across some I stay away from, but around 90% are solid.

Most certainly I continued to lose weight and feel better. It is difficult to be steered into the wrong direction.

Advice I can give is this: look pages forward for what you will need in proceeding weeks. I was at a loss when given short notice that I would need Grape Leaves and my store didn't carry them. Or Red Palm Oil. So looking ahead would have solved that issue.

Best of luck. I'm sure you will enjoy your 30 days!

I haven't followed any of the meal plans, but I did find the book extremely helpful when I was doing a Whole30. The recipes are simple, some of my faves are the sausage stuffed mushrooms and the lemon chicken with capers and artichokes. Good luck!
