G'day all, Just yesterday i was given the news that with my current rate of deterioration of kidney function i will be needing dialysis in one to two years and subsequently will be needing a donor.Very sorry to sound like i'm dumping on you all but i just need some clarity. I have also been on another caveman type diet for six months now,i have lost 6-7 kg but never had too much to lose anyway.Funny thing though,i'm to have lost a lot of back ache and joint soreness which is fantastic!! Whilst eating this way i have been eating cream ,milk[not all the time]dark chocolate to quench sweet cravings, butter and occasionly potatoes. I work outdoors and physically and in a cold winter climate[Christchurch,nz] so very hard to feel warm while eating salad!!!!! I have asked the above question ,before my of late diagnosis, from my other sourse of dietry info but to no avail???? Regards slightly worried, Chris

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you are asking. Will you clarify your question?

I had the same problem. My kidney function was dropping like a rock. Less protein and more carbs brought my kidney function back inline.
