Anyone have a few good places to check out when I'm there? I am not eating dairy or grains right now.

Thanks!

Jeremy

Thanks @ChicagoAH! Had NO idea these places exist. Am 'schooled' and thankful. Will be keeping this list in mind.

Yikes.. stay away from Chilis. I have several places I go to and get 100% Paleo meals

-Bavette's - will accommodate any dietary restrictions - just give them a heads up in the reservation - best steak I've ever had

- Little Goat - lettuce wrapped goat burgers

- Butcher & Burger - more lettuce wrapped burgers - delicious. If you eat white potatoes, amazing fries.

- HB in Lakeview - BYOB (if you care), reservations a must, amazing food (bacon wrapped dates, smoked chicken thighs w/ brussels and almond butter are my fave)

- Meli Cafe for a huge omelette and fresh juice

@jeremy I live in the suburbs...Chili's is good to make the food how you order it, like 'cook the eggs in butter, please'. Chipotle is the other place I can suggest. Restaurant-wise, the Midwest seems to be a little slower than some areas jumping on the Paleo bandwagon.
