Hi hackers,

today I entered "paleo wallpaper" into google image search and was really disappointed. Except this close-up picture of bacon nothing interesting appeared.

My computer is craving for a decent paleo wallpaper! But I'm clueless. Do you have inspiring paleo related desktop backgrounds?

Wouldn't it be great to get motivated and reminded of what it's like to be paleo whenever we sit at the computer? Any great wallpaper ideas? ;)

It seems from now on the typical nerd has a sixpack, knows how to handle a spear and eats a mammoth for breakfast ;)

Debian, Stumpwm, Emacs and mutt is how I roll. There are a couple of Sysadmins on here actually. Kind of blows away the overweight, long haired, Bart Simpson t-shirt wearing stereotypes doesn't it. :)

WARNING! This cartoon's caption uses the f-word. It's my current wallpaper, though, and I LOL'd when I first saw it.

It sums up what we discuss daily in one succinct image.

I used a high-res of cave paintings of Aurochs for awhile: paleolithic-desktop-wallpaper?

however now It's a gorilla and a shark high-fiving with an explosion in the background. Maybe that reminds me of my Alpha tendencies, which is primitive in my own way, but not really Paleo...

Here are some high-res options for you along the same way as above: image search of cave paintings

This isn't paleo per se, but in my mind fits with the philosophy. Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man:

Well unfortunately I use tiling window manager so I don't actually have a desktop. But I use an operating system that has a penguin and not a window or an apple so maybe it's like really paleo.
