I just got both books in the mail. Which book should I read first?

Haha, yes, I guess after the amount of white rice I ate yesterday I'm doomed and my lifespan shortened for several years xD

Nora is insane. Apparantely you "MIGHT" be OK if you have the occasional bite of sweet potato. But really, she wasn't too certain. She is one of those "all dietary glucose is poison" types.

I would read Paleo Solution first, that is your 101 intro course.

Primal Body, Primal Mind is more of a theoretical geek out book that will make more sense once you have the basics down.

I started with Paleo Solution and it helped me a lot, then I went deeper once I had a good foundation.

PBPM changed my life! I followed with Primal Blueprint, Paleo Solution, and even Paleoista but found that PBPM to be most comprehensive. I was "beyond" paleo for first 9 months and then relaxed a little but found the more faithful I am to tenets of PBPM, the better I feel and look. Additionally, I would suggest Dr. Ron Rosedale's book.

I'd read both. Same with A Primal Blueprint. And a few others. Try elements of all of them to see what works best for you.

I read PBPM first... It's a bit denser than PS. Considering she proposes to go "beyond paleo" maybe just reading about "paleo" first makes sense.

Primal Body Primal Mind was one of the first paleo books I read and at that time I kinda liked it.

BUT

according to Evelyn/Carbsane there's lots of bad science in it so I'm not sure if it is really that "deep".

Also, personally, I'm not at all into this extreme calorie, carb and protein restriction thing, I'd rather enjoy myself and have good athletic performance than such a crazy eating disorder. Yes, don't hate me, I'm aware that it might be beneficial for certain folks in certain situations for a period of time, definitely not for me ;)

Paleo Soultion was not as good as I hoped it would be (guess my expectations were just too high) but it is still a great read and Robb is awesome so I'm happy to support him.

Paleo Solution. Mainly because Robb Wolf swears a lot, and that makes me like him. Swearing is pretty paleo, don't you think?
