I am looking for new recipes of Paleo Smoothies.

Anything from smoothies used as snacks or meal replacements.

How often do you drink a smoothie?

They're good, hope you enjoy! On occasion, depending on how ripe the fruit is, or if I'm getting my period :) , I might add a little coconut sugar or raw honey. For the most part the above is it, just play with the ratio's - like start 8-10oz of liquid, etc.

I might also throw in some unflavored whey protein powder, and whatever other fruits/veggies that I have on hand.

Great recipes- I will give them a try. So aside from the coconut milk or cow milk- you don't add anything else with the fruit? Thank you for your reply!

I love all smoothie related discussions, but pretty sure this is a pretty close duplicate of this: http://paleohacks.com/questions/49990/great-smoothie-ideas#axzz1WRqjCwVa or this: http://paleohacks.com/questions/7457/whats-the-best-smoothie#axzz1WRqjCwVa

The above suggestions look amazing! I can't wait to try some of them because I've started to get bored with my same old daily smoothie routine. Every morning, I have some variation of the following:

3 kinds of fruits, coconut milk, fish oil, maca powder, ice.

The 3 kinds of fruit are usually 4 strawberries, a big handful of blueberries, and one banana; but sometimes a few chunks of fresh pineapple or mango depending upon availability. Also, I've recently switched to Trader Joe's frozen blueberries instead of fresh ones just for economical reasons.

The fish oil and maca powder are obviously NOT meant to add flavor. The entire purpose for having a smoothie every morning is to disguise these otherwise disgusting ingredients! Even if my smoothie recipe isn't as exciting as some of the others, it's a great way to drink the yucky stuff hidden inside.

Hey Jenna - here is a link for "breakfast in a blender" that submitted a few weeks ago, there are some good things to take a peek at. My list, that is also in that thread, is below for ya :)

All of the below will work in a blender as a smoothie - or freeze up as an ice cream, sorbet, etc., if you make too much and don't want to toss the rest OR want to multi-task and make a bigger recipe. Just add ice and/or chunk up and freeze the fruit before using. They're good - pinky swear! :)

Green tea, mango, goat milk

Strawberry, or mixed berries, lemon, mint, cow milk

Almond butter, coconut, cocoa, coconut milk - sometimes I add a banana

Broil pineapple and puree with coconut, fresh ginger, coconut milk

Banana, cashew butter, cow milk - I add a little lemon juice

Avocado, lime juice, honeydew melon, cow milk or coconut water

This one I found on the intertubes about a month ago and it's tasty: 1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk, 1-1/2 Scoops Chocolate Whey Protein Powder, 1/2 Cup Peeled, Cooked Sweet Potato, 1/2 Large, Peeled, Banana, Small Pinch of Sea Salt, Handful of Ice
