Hi guys, just wanted to see if anyone found any new spots in Las Vegas - going for 3 days with non-paleo friends and would like to see if there are any good quality restaurants with organic, free-range chicken/eggs, grass-fed meat etc... Any tips would be appreciated!

But seriously — what you eat is a central part of your life, and it affects those in your orbit. LV or not, this topic is bound to come up soon in any relationship. If he doesn't respect this type of fundamental choice, assuming you have some reasonable evidence to answer his questions/challenges, you have to ask yourself if this is the type of guy you want to have a relationship with.

A first date with a doctor in LV? You *do* like to live dangerously.

yeah agree. Have fun !just stay away from junk. Sushi might be a good option in addition to the grilled fare.

In addition, this guy is a doctor, so he WILL start asking "what's wrong with you" type of questions :-(( I don't want to explain myself too much!

Oh believe me, I would love to not be neurotic about it! But here is a conundrum - most of the times I eat in a normal restaurant, even getting a paleo combo fish/chicken/eggs or meat and veggies, I feel crappy and have a flare up of IBS. Which understandably would spoil the whole trip for me. Since I am going there on a first date (!) with a guy and his friends, and would love to just go to a quality trustworthy restaurant and be normal and have fun without paying the price, having painful conversations with a waiter, and drawing attention.

Don't drive yourself neurotic looking for premium quality food in LV. Just stick to the meat, seafood, and green veggie dishes in the buffets.
