Paleo Magazine- Thoughts?

So i received my second copy of the Paleo Magazine about a few weeks ago and not too sure the magazine is well worth the money spent on it.

I'm finding it to be way too much more advertisement than worth information related to be Paleo.

Don't get me wrong- there are a few recipes and posts, but 80% is mostly advertisements and wish the bulk would be of valuable content.

Thoughts?

+1 for the suggestion about supporting people trying to get something new off the ground in an area you have an interest in. If we don't do it, who will? And if we don't do it, why would anyone else want to try?

There's a WOD Talk online free magazine and I think that is just great!!! The content is superb, and I love all of the stuff in there.... Waste of money for the Paleo Magazine though...! Link to WOD talk free Magazine- http://www.wodtalk.com/wod-talk-magazine-current/

Doesn't seem to be any more ads than other magazines. I love Paleo Magazine. Great coverage of recent Paleo-related science news, inspirational stories, apparel & food product reviews, great recipes, and good articles that delve deeper into various topics such as vitamin D. The have some of the best and brightest writer/bloggers in the Paleo world covering these various topics in a glossy magazine that I find myself keeping around longer than most magazines as I keep going back to them for reference. Well worth the price for the info in a tangible format.

I'll be honest, I haven't seen a copy yet. I ordered the first two issues, but honestly I'm holding out for a digital subscription.

My 2 cents is however, that they are a new mag with probably not a lot of revenue coming from subscriptions yet, so they have to get money somewhere, or slowly go the way of the buffalo. So buy the mag anyway, support the people who are giving them lots of money right and in a few years it will grow into a better publication. If you really cant stand the ads or think the articles are too basic, give your copy to non Paleo friends, it might just the ticket to get them interested...
