Paleo "Lean" until fat burn

Is it better to go Paleo "Lean" when coming off a "cheat" weekend. And by lean I mean low fat for the first few days.

It wouldn't be Paleo if someone weren't being anal, so I'll bite... all that avocado might be filling you up with omega 6's. Nothing wrong with guac every now and then, but if that's a daily thing, you might want to cut back on it a bit. Anyway, yep, to get back on the leaning track, minimize insulin secretion for short-term loss and maximize sensitivity for long-term maintenance.

High fat it is. Eggs and guac for breakfast, chicken and guac for lunch and steak and guac for dinner. Thanks>

I'd go high fat, medium protein, and very low carb or no carbs. That is how I recover from a "cheat".

I find that eating "naughty" carb foods makes me feel a bit groggy the next day, and I also get sharp hunger pangs for a day or two after. I think this is the insulin merry-go-round. Cutting out carbs mostly or completely for a day puts me back on track the day after that. Kind of hard to stick with it that first day, but the payoff is worth it.

No. Not enough fat means you probably won't be as full, and being hungry you're more likely to continue the cheat.
