Good call on Harvest Moon. The pork they raised is called "Grateful Growers". You can buy it at the Charlotte Farmers Market on Saturdays before noon.

Bad Daddy's is pretty paleo-freindly. You can substitute lettuce for a bun on your hamburger, and they have a gluten-free breakfast menu.

I live in Charlotte, and I have not been able to find one that advertises being paleo like UrbanPl8 in Atlanta.

However, I truly agree with what Kevin said before - any restaurant can be paleo if you choose ones that get high quality local products and know what to ask for and avoid.

For example, Customshop (which is my favorite restaurant in Charlotte) uses many, many local products and has many paleo friendly sides. Another place is Halcyon - Same story.

When I go out (and I'm trying to stick to paleo), I ask that the food be cooked in olive oil, no sugar and no dairy. Just be conscience of what might be in a dish and ask the restaurant to sub out where appropriate.

Well, they all are - you can get steak, chicken, fish, salad, veggies at any decent restaurant.

HUNT, i wouldn't trust a Paleo banner as far as I could throw it. Hunt then gather in the reward.

Customshop is fantastic. I ate at Harvest Moon for the first time last night and that was likewise super delicious. The chef actually raises all the pork on the menu, which I think is pretty neat. If you work uptown, Blynk is the best lunchtime option I know of.

I also haven't had any luck finding one that advertising being paleo.
