Paleo and detox giving me hives

4 weeks ago I switched to strictly paleo. I also started drinking dandelion and kombucha teas at the same time for detox. About a week and a half ago I started getting hives for the first time in my life. I'm thinking this might just be a healing crisis because I stopped drinking the detox teas as soon as the hives started to rule out an allergy. I haven't added anything into my diet that I didn't eat before I've only eliminated things.

My question is this... How much longer do I have to deal with these hives and should I get on prednisone? Taking Allegra seems to help a little but I still get hives while on it.

Dandelion (despite being an herb) is a very powerful medicine. It combines liver detox and is bad for people with SIBO.

I am not saying you have SIBO, but... lay off the dandelion for a while. Some people get reaction to it.

I get reaction from lemons and ginger, so dandelion roots is a complete murder for me.
