Neurofibromatosis and Paleo?? Anyone out there?

I'm being hopeful...

This is a long shot and I'm pretty sure nobody will answer...but is there anyone with NF out there who is on paleo? Do you think that it will help with any of the symptoms?

Thanks in advance.

You have probably already found this, but the only lead I could find (hopefully more knowledgeable people can either discredit or use as a springboard) was here: https://www.inspire.com/groups/neurofibromatosis-network/discussion/nf-and-mastocytosis/. As soon as we're talking about co-occurrance, histamine and gluten intolerance, there's a possible benefit from paleo. Also, we know about cancerous cells feeding on sugar, so perhaps a whole food, low sugar diet such as paleo may impede fibroid development?

how has it been working for you? I just started paleo for my own neuro condition but wonder if it could hlp my son who has NF1. He is pretty asymptomatic so far.
