Ok, so I've been eating something that more or less resembles a primal diet for a year now. I've lost 30 pounds, and most of that was done doing what I'd call low-fat high-carb paleo. I ate TONS of fruit, yogurt, nuts, and some lean meats and veggies. Some grains, no gluten or dairy besides yogurt. In the past few months I've doubled my protein and fat intake and become more conscious of my sugar/carb intake in hopes of reaching my fitness goals faster but I haven't felt much of a difference. I've been feeling a bit energy-depleted lately and I'm wondering if I'm eating enough carbs. I eat around 100g carb 100g protein a day. I lift, do HIIT, hike, and run.
Has anyone experimented with low-fat high-carb and high-fat low-carb? Opinions?

I did high-fat/low-carb for very long time, and I felt like heck. I was stubborn and didn't want to give it up because it wasn't "paleo".
Now I eat high carb, moderate protein and I've scaled back my fat. If I eat a high-fat/low carb meal, my energy levels drop and my gastritis is back in full swing.
