It was recently that I discovered on PaleoHacks that Cod Liver Oil can help cure or minimize the effects of Karatosis Pilaris which I have mostly on my arms (however, I generally have small, sparce bumps all over my body). Since then, I've gone through 2 bottles of (taking Nordic Naturals brand Arctic Cod Liver Oil - about a tablespoon a day for about 2 months) while eating, I'd say, about 98% paleo (the 2% is the couple times in the past couple weeks that I've cheated on cheese or potatoes or something but never grains). Half way through my first bottle of CLO, I noticed a significant difference in my arms. I was extatic and obviously didn't want to reverse my progress so I continued to take it. About half way through my second bottle, I realized that the bumps were starting to appear again. Not as bad this time, but you can deffinately tell that I have kp which is very disheartening. It feels like a bit of a tease, to be honest!
Does anyone have any suggestions for something that'll work better? I've heard things about Fermented CLO. Is that more potent or have components in it that are more effective?
I need all the help I can get! Thank you!!
