Wow, that's a-lot of training. Maybe that is why you are so hungry because you would need to eat a sh#t load to fuel that, and then maybe you overeat after feeling hungry, leading you to feel bloated the next few days? I would say most people eating med-high fat paleo can go 6-8 hours without feeling overly hungry. I'm no expert in abs, but it sounds like more fat and carbs would help with the hunger and probably a rest day or 2 in there.

I get the impression that most paleos who train hard especially endurance have to find a lot of paleo-friendly carbs as I do. You are probably not eating enough carbs for your training regimen. I eat medium-low-carb most of the time and backload major carbs post-run and post-lifting session. Only then did I start to shake the constant hunger and fatigue you're describing.

I work out with a corssfit program 5 days per week and yoga one day per week. I started paleo January 1 and for the first 2 weeks I was STARVING! Stick with it and it gets better. Eat sweet potatoes in the am and this helped tremendously for me.

why do you eat every few hours, yo seem to think that meal frenquency has a effect on body composition...it dont,

also, potatoes and rice are very cheap and will keep you full,

Crossfit every day is the prime suspect.

Are you JUST hungry or hungry AND thirsty? How to tell: Is your hunger a craving or is it accompanied by hunger pangs? Sometimes the body's messaging gets misinterpreted.

Def feel like you are not getting enough calories. If you do a lot of anarobic exercise with it your body burns lots more calories from just that for 24-48 hours. So if you are doing lots of that you are probably waaaay back up on calories. I am a sponsored cross fitter and That is usually my problem...I will KILL it then go on binges one week and not even be hungry one week. All those guys above are right. Id say every time you WOD you should have a sweet potato. If it's a WOD lasting up to 15-20 minutes have a couple bananas. Just leave out the fruit rest of the time!

Do you do a lot of powerlifting/ Weight training?

I'm in the midst of this too... I've been crossfitting for 2 months. Is that a verb? Ha!
