I know eating sugar/bad carbs will change your brain chemistry and mess up your leptin (Im not to sure if thats the correct use of the term) Is it possible to restore your body and brain from adapting a paleo lifestyle? Reset your leptin? Will it take years and is there anyway to speed up the process? (I know sometimes long term drug and alcohol use can permanently damage the brain & body) Thank you and have a great rest of your weekend:)

Hormones autoregulate really well. I would suggest NOT looking at any specific thing to try and manipulate hormones directly. I would just eat a healthy diet, get some sleep and don't obsess about Paleo Purity too much.

Yes and yes.

You can restore and reset.

Start by learning the basics of paleo and how it works for you. Once your body has adjusted you can fine tune.

Many people will probably be able to recover completely and varies between people how long it takes.

However, not everyone will be able to lose all the weight that they have gained. That's the cold hard truth.
