Have you tried any special cleanses to eliminate excess waste and water?

So when I first started doing Paleo, I was losing roughly 2-3lbs a week which was awesome!

After about 3 months, I've hit a plateau and was fairly consistent with my weight.

Decided to shake things up a bit and do a cleanse for ONLY 4 days then went back onto my regular PALEO diet:

Breakfast- Eat a whole egg and Eat egg white Grapefruit

Lunch- Vegetable Soup Piece of Fruit

Dinner- Vegetable Soup Piece of Fruit

Snacks throughout the day were nuts and such but after doing that for just 4 days, it's amazing how I didn't feel so hungry- weird, isn't it?

Well anyhow, weighed in that following sunday and dropped 3 lbs!

Was great for time being, but I've gone back to now losing or gaining and just staying that the number since I last lost any weight. It's been about a month now that I've been consistent.

Any thoughts? I've lost total of 17 pounds and am looking to lose another 15 pounds so I can be within the normal range for my height and age.

Yeah, I think I need to cut back on the amount of nuts- maybe that is what's doing it- even though it's in small amounts.

Yes, was all vegetables and a little bit broth from the chicken bone- that's about it! I thought I'd be way more hungry, but the grapefruit in the mornings I think is what helped. Did it just for 4 days and worked great- not so sure I'd do it again though! Had quite the cravings and got sick of the soup!

Well that was just for 4 day thing- since then I've been back on stricly Paleo and only have 1-2 fruits daily.

My opinion:

A) More PROTEIN B) I'm not sure you are eating enough cals 2 eggs 180 cals, grapefruit ~100, Vegetable soup ~200 Fruit ~100 Vegetable soup ~200 Fruit ~100 nuts ~200 cals= 1380 calories? You'd have to be 100% sedentary and you would still be lose lbs unless you are REALLY short stature.

Up your cals, pump the protein in.... my guess is you'll be happier.

Are you making the vegetable soup yourself? What's in it?

I don't see any protein besides one egg, and one egg white (why not the yolk?). I'd also cut out the fruit at dinner, and make sure you're eating a good amount of hours before bed. Also, nuts usually keep me from losing weight, and I only snack on them if I really have to.

I'd probably be starving unless I was eating cups upon cups of soup, but that's just me.

You're eating a lot of fruit. Try cutting it out completely for the next 30 days.
