These pictures are just amazing! Yes, I have a very similar story. I reversed my severe Crohn's/UC (I was diagnosed with both at different times) using the GAPS Diet protocol (grain-free, Palep-type diet) after failing all of the drugs and facing surgery. I have been living in remission and drug-free since 2010. My story can be found here to back up what Lindsey has attested to:
The more people that will come out and share their stories like this the more people will be encouraged to think outside the box and seek other answers beyond the "prescribe a pill or cut you open" approach. We have advanced far too much to continue with this broken approach and people are finding the answers on their own. With the ability we have to come out of the woodwork and share our experience on the web, it's only a matter of time before healing in this way becomes more commonplace.
If you are using an approach like this and it's working, I encourage you to speak up! I was diagnosed with Crohn's nearly 10 years ago and guess what? The drugs are exactly the same today and generally doing little to truly help people. There ARE answers. Get educated by the people who are finding success and find your way back to health!
