Fellow Paleo Lymies,Help please?

I have a question for my fellow Paleo Lyme sufferers, since I'm still battling the tweaking of ratio's 'cause it has a lot more tricky factors to it than for the regular usual Paleo person.

What amount in grams do you eat on a day regarding fat/proteine/carbs? What veggies do&don't you eat? Are you a sedentary person or do you workout (if so,what do you do and how frequently?) What does a typical day of eating look like for you? Also are there Lymies who do(ne) GAPS?

Lots of questions I know, but I still have a hard time trusting 'my instincts' as I don't know if they're actually mine or the parasites. And also bc I'm constantly battling metabolic disfunctions...thyroid,adrenals,gut,liver. For instance when I go LC,after a couple of days I feel depressed/lethargic,IBS and my adrenals are stressed...so then when I go a bit higher carb,my adrenals get stressed too, constantly waking from my sleep etc. It seems like I never can get it right....

I agree. Lots of resveratrol too, but what about oxalic acid? Also good because it is an invasive species and we want to get rid of those.

Good to hear. In that case, I'll say off the bat I'm not a doctor, but I'm not certain why a person with Lyme would have different dietary requirements than somebody without. When you say your adrenals are stressed, what exactly do you mean? It's normal to feel lethargic on low carb for anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks as your body adjusts to ketosis, though unless you're trying to lose weight LC is not likely to be necessary.

Yes,I am treating it.As far as Paleo-reenactment goes,I'm not into that thing of: "what would Grok do?"

I stay away from nightshades... delicious, delicious night shades. Also work in broths & krauts. The past year I've found that following FODMAPs have helped a ton too.

First off are you treating your Lyme properly? Avoidance of antibiotics for legitimate and difficult infections like Lyme for reasons of paleo-reenactment is absolutely boneheaded.
